Dews of Joy-Metta’s “ECO@Metta” project, initiated by Metta Welfare Association in 2019, aims to enhance the employability of young adults with special needs, such as those diagnosed with mild intellectual disability or autism. By employing job coaches and Metta graduates, the project produces eco-friendly orange enzyme cleaners, which are distributed free to the community and sold online. Additionally, the project collaborates with partners and corporations in their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, with Metta’s youths leading the process of teaching corporate employees how to create these cleaners. This initiative not only provides vocational training and lifelong learning opportunities but also fosters inclusivity and empowers youths with special needs to achieve meaningful employment and contribute positively to society.
